LAUNCH OF THE WINMAU JUNIOR WORLD MASTERS
The Junior Darts Corporation is delighted to announce that we have been chosen as the official organisation to facilitate the qualifying criteria for the Winmau Junior World Masters 2026.
This historic event and its unique format will continue into a new era with the support of the Junior Darts Corporation facilitating qualifying via the JDC’s international academy network.
The event will culminate in a staged final at the Winmau World Masters in February 2026 and will see two young finalists play out a dream final on stage at the MK arena on February 1st.
Junior players within the JDC’s academy network will have the opportunity to qualify through a two staged process.
1. Winmau are offering their official Winmau affiliated academy network two automatic places per academy, over two seasons of the JDC’s academy calendar.
2. The JDC will facilitate a Winmau Junior World Masters qualifying event for all registered players within the JDC’s academy system planned for early January. 16 places for finals day will be available at this event over a weekend of play.
Both qualifying opportunities will secure players for a finals day planned for the end of January to find the finalists for this prestigious event in the junior darts calendar.
JDC Chief Executive Darren Barson said,

The Winmau World Masters has always been held in such high regard in the darts community and we are delighted that we can assist in this new event. We saw earlier this year what a huge success the Winmau World Masters was and the relationship between the JDC, Winmau and the PDC will surely provide an amazing opportunity for years to come.
