Macy Gibbons won both Girls Series events in Bristol over the weekend to further enhance her standing as the in-form player in junior girls’ darts.
She beat defending champion Rebecca Allen in both finals to build a five-point lead over Lucy Shepherd at the top of the standings, having won Event One last time out.
Allen, who missed the opening weekend of action, is up to third place on six points after reaching both finals.
Event 3
Macy Gibbons built on her Event One win – and another excellent night in the Junior Power League on Friday – to claim the Event Three title as she underlined her burgeoning reputation within the game.
The 16-year-old beat Rebecca Allen 4-1 in the final in Bristol, with both players averaging more than 74 in a high-quality contest.
Having won all three of her round-robin matches 3-0, beating Lacey Powell, Lola Wheeler and Brooke Warren, the in-form Gibbons beat Yazmine Ruck-Havard 3-1 in the last 16, before going through her quarter-final against Taylor Field and semi against Lucy Shepherd without dropping a leg.
She opened the final with a hold of throw, before Allen responded with a 14-dart hold of her own, which included a 180. Gibbons held again on double 5, before breaking the Allen throw for a 3-1 lead. She then closed out the next leg to seal the event win against the 2025 champion.

Gibbons averaged north of 80, with Allen averaging over 70 in a match in which the defending champion led 2-0. Allen broke throw in the opening leg, before holding in the second.
But Gibbons fought back, holding throw thanks to two 140s in the third leg, then breaking to draw level. She edged ahead with a 16-dart leg in the fifth, before breaking throw with an 88 checkout to win the match and the event.
The victory capped an excellent weekend for Gibbons, who leads both the Junior Power League.
