In the latest round-up from Series 2 of the Volts, we focus on South West England, as the race heats up for places in the regional finals.

Logan Symons Jr won in Plymouth to maintain his relentless charge in the South West.

He leads the table in the final week of action, having beaten Olly Maule 3-1 in the final after a 3-0 semi-final win over Jayden Page.

The race for qualification is fascinating, with a sizeable chasing pack looking to break into the all-important top 32 places during the final few events of Series 2.

One player who is safely into the regional finals is Athur Alden, who had an excellent week, winning the events in both Bridgwater and Radstock.

In Bridgwater, he beat Brooklyn Anthony 3-0 in the final with a 73.92 average. Alden produced a brilliant 135 checkout to win the opening leg, and closed out the win by taking out 55.

He had earlier beaten Ryan Greenslade 3-0 in the semi-final and CJ Ayres 3-1 in the quarters, as well as winning all of his group matches.

In Radstock, Alden beat Tai Anderson 3-1 in the final, after finding a way past Ryan Knight in the semis. Anderson has put himself in a good position to qualify for the regional finals despite playing fewer events than many of those around him in the race for the top 32.

Finlay Cleave, who is in second place overall, was the winner in Torquay. He defeated Ellis Harvey 3-1 in the final, holding throw for 2-1 by taking out 32 with Harvey waiting on tops, before breaking throw in the next leg to seal the win.

Cleave had earlier defeated Max Bushin 3-1 in the semi-final and Aidan Fowle by the same scoreline in the quarters.

In Bristol, there was a win for Woody Jewell, who beat Jack Williams 3-1 in the final, after averaging 73.92 in his 3-0 semi-final win over Rory Jefferies.

Woody Wheeler moved into the top 32 by winning in Faringdon, significantly enhancing his chances of reaching the regional finals.

He averaged 74.58 in his 3-1 win over Dillon Moran in the final, sealing the title with excellent checkouts of 118 and 96.

In Liskeard, Kyle Chudleigh took the honours, beating Olly Maule – who had also reached the final in Plymouth – 3-1. Chudleigh kicked off with a 61 checkout and sealed the deal with a single dart at tops.

Jack Kempster was the weekly winner in Weston-super-Mare, beating Ryan Knight 3-2 in the final, hitting 60 and 76 checkouts, after a 3-1 semi-final win over the in-form Arthur Alden.
