Information on starting or affiliating your club/academy with us.
The JDC has a network of over 60 partner academies around the world giving children extra opportunities within their local community to be part of something global. The JDC offers academies many opportuinities including state of the art software, equipment and an exclusive grading sysytem that will see children rewarded for their efforts and will offer opportunities to qualify for world events via the academy system.
If you want to affilite an academy to the JDC the following must be in place.
1. YOU MUST HAVE A CONFIRMED VENUE
2. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU HAVE ASSISTANCE IN RUNNING THE ACADEMY
3. YOU ARE ABLE TO COMMIT PERSONALLY TO A WEEKLY SESSION
4. THE LEAD COACH MUST HAVE A VALID DBS / WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
5. AT LEAST ONE OF THE TEAM HAS A FIRST AID CERTIFICATE AT THE ACADEMY
Once in place you will be able to complete the JDC ACADEMY ACCREDITAION DAY
This Course will provide you with all the knowledge and answer all your questions. It will provide you with practical experience as you will complete academy scoring sessions and play the bespoke Greenzone handicap system for acadamies. It will also allow you to have the software and equipment to start or enhance your academy.
The cost of the course affiliates your club/academy as a JDC Affiliated Academy and certificates the lead coach attending the course. Please be aware this is a partnership for opportunities for the volunterrs and the children. We do not own any academies and purley wish to enhance your journey in the junior darts world.
