FOUNDATION TOUR RULES
JDC FOUNDATION TOUR 2026 RULES
The JDC Foundation Tour is open to those who do not hold an Advanced tour card.
The top 4 players from each Foundation Tour order of merit will be granted a tour card for the following year. The top 4 players from each Foundation Tour will also qualify for the JDC World Championship.
If you obtain a tour card from the foundation tour you must be aware of the age restrictions to play in the Advanced Tour the following year.
There are 2 phases in the Foundation Tour. Phase 1 will be in England South, England North, Scotland, Ireland and Belgium. Phase 2 will be in England South & England North.
1. Dress code for the JDC Foundation Tour is black trousers and black shoes, casual shirt (no football shirts) Black shoes must not have bright logo placement or markings.
2. All Entries are online via the juniordarts.com website.
3. Registration for each event will be from 9.30am – 10.30am at all events unless otherwise stated. Play will commence at 11am, the second event will start as soon as the first event has finished,so please ensure you are in the building ready to start the second event.
4. If you fail to register your name/attendance and the draw is done, you will not be able to play.
5. Players are requested to be at the venue by midday ready to start the second event.
6. All tour events will be run on the DartConnect system, a demonstration will be given before the start of each event and on request throughout the day.
Live streaming of certain matches will take place at JDC Events. The Foundation Tour OOM will be available via DartConnect and the JDC website.
7. Losers are requested to mark the following game on their board of play. If you can't mark, it is your responsibility to ask someone to do it for you.
8. Winners are requested to report match results to the tournament director on completion of the match being played.
9. Format for each event is best of 5 legs, 501 down to the semi-finals, the semi-finals will be best of 7, 501 and the final will be best of 9, 501. PDC Bull up rules applies. The winner of the bullseye will throw first in all odd numbered legs. Every leg counts, and these will contribute in the OOM.
10.Players who have refused an Advanced Tour Card cannot play Foundation Tour in the same year.
All prize money from the JDC will be paid through PayPal. You must have a PayPal account to be paid. Players must issue the JDC team with the Email address for it. Payouts will be made within 21 days of the end of each event.
