EDUCATION COURSES
JDE OFFER:
The JDE training courses are centred around the ABC Darts Leadership courses and the offer at present is as follows:
COURSE 1
Introduction: (3 hour duration) – for students and those with no formal teaching or coaching qualifications – once qualified these learners will require supervision.
Introduction to ABC Darts Leadership – Student – (14 – 18 years in full time education) – (None qualified status)
Introduction to ABC Darts Leadership – Adult – (mentors, community volunteers / parents) (None Qualified status)
AQA Unit Award Scheme accredited.

COURSE 2
Tutor Award: (3 hour duration) – for qualified teachers or coaches with a minimum of a NGB Level 1 qualification.
ABC Darts Leadership – Co-Ordinator Award (Qualified status) – 1 per Learning Centre. Includes discounts with our Learning centre partners. Co-ordinators will be the centre leads for the Learning centre and ABC Darts provision.
ABC Darts Leadership – Tutor Award (Qualified status) - this is for any other staff that work with the Co-ordinator and in the same learning centre.
JDE recommend to have at least 1 tutor to support the co-ordinator.
AQA Unit Award Scheme accredited.

Adapted ABC Darts Leadership course - specifically aimed at JDC Academy directors, coaches, volunteers and parents. Also for other non-qualified members of the community looking to get involved in darts provision.
