The Junior Darts Corporation Academy System is a worldwide youth development programme, with a network of over 260 partner academies across the globe. The system provides children with opportunities within their local community while being part of something much bigger on an international scale.
The JDC Academy Accreditation programme is designed to support venues, coaches, and organisers in delivering structured, enjoyable, and professional youth darts sessions within an established global pathway.

The JDC Accreditation Course is designed for venues, coaches, and organisers looking to start or enhance a youth darts academy within the JDC system. The course provides practical experience and guidance on delivering academy sessions, including:
• JDC scoring routines
• The Equaliser scoring system
• Use of the GoDartsPro platform
• Running weekly academy sessions
• Player tracking and development
The £199 accreditation fee includes official JDC affiliation for your academy and certification for the lead coach attending the course. The JDC does not own or operate academies directly. The programme is built as a partnership to support volunteers, venues, coaches, and young players through structured opportunities within junior darts.
To affiliate a JDC Academy, the following must be in place:
1. YOU MUST HAVE A CONFIRMED VENUE
2. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU HAVE ASSISTANCE IN RUNNING THE ACADEMY
3. YOU ARE ABLE TO COMMIT PERSONALLY TO A WEEKLY SESSION
4. THE LEAD COACH MUST HAVE A VALID ENHANCED DBS / WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE (WITHIN 3 YEARS)
5. AT LEAST ONE OF THE TEAM HAS A FIRST AID CERTIFICATE AT THE ACADEMY
6. ACADEMY ACCREDITATION COMES WITH ACADEMY SUPPORT FROM WINMAU. YOU MUST NOT BE CONTRACTED TO ANY OTHER MANUFACTURER TO COMPLETE THE JDC ACCREDITATION PROCESS.
