WEEKEND PREVIEW 12TH JUNE - 14TH JUNE

WEEKEND PREVIEW 12TH JUNE - 14TH JUNE

The Junior Power League reaches its climax this Friday in the Girls league, and there is still plenty to play for in the Boys league before they head into the final week in August.

Mitchell Lawrie, Owen Bryceland and Archie Self all sit on six points, with Christian Ennis a point behind on five.

Scottish duo Lawrie and Bryceland face Jack Nankervis and the in-form Lewis Cook respectively, with Self up against Jack Johnson.

Lola Wheeler is on double duty in the Girls JPL, having been out of action in the last set of fixtures. She will face both Lucy Shepherd and table topper Macy Gibbons on Friday night.

Gibbons has been imperious of late, winning all four of her JPL clashes and dominating on the Girls Series circuit, but will need one more win over Wheeler to be number one seed heading into finals day.

The JPL will be live on the JDC YouTube channel from 7pm on Friday evening!

JPL FIXTURES & TABLES

The JDC Advanced Tour title is almost within reach for Mitchell Lawrie who currently sits in a dominant position at the summit of the order of merit. The Scot has won eight titles on the tour in 2026, and sits in an almost unassailable position, with the chasing pack of Jayden Walker, Kaya Baysal and Jack Johnson all over 15 points adrift.

However, the English trio are in prime position to seal their spots on the England A team for Gibraltar, with Lewis Cook and Ben Townley likely to duke it out for the final spot. Archie Self also remains in contention but needs a big weekend in Bristol.

No matter how the weekend goes, all 64 of our Advanced Tour card holders will be invited to the 2026 JDC World Championship in Gibraltar, with the top 32 retaining their tour card for the 2027 season.

Macy Gibbons and Rebecca Allen’s year long battle will come to a climax on Sunday, after battles aplenty on the Girls Series and JPL circuit over the past five months.

Gibbons holds a slender six-point advantage heading into the final weekend of action and will only need to avoid a slip up to see her drop out of the top 2.

Lucy Shepherd has also put in a strong debut campaign, after securing her first JDC title earlier in the season, and will be hoping to close the gap on reigning JPL champ, Allen.

The top 2 players in the order of merit will play out an ultimate final match on stage at the PDC World Matchplay to determine the 2026 Girls Series Champion.
