JUNIOR DARTS COLLABORATION MARKS A NEW BEGINNING IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
The Junior Darts Corporation has formulated an exciting collaboration with the newly
formed United States Junior Darts Organisation (USJD). The USJD movement is a bespoke
company putting all its efforts into the Junior space in the US, partnering with the JDC.
Both companies will be pioneering new initiatives to increase awareness and participation of junior players engaging in the sport of darts across America. USJD will become the driving force to promote and deliver junior opportunities with an academy system, local events, national events and a pathway to the international circuit through the JDC.
Support across the nation from existing organisations such as the Championship Darts Corporation and world leading darts manufacturer Winmau, coupled with its relationship with the JDC, the USJD team have great support for the venture.
The official launch of this collaboration will be held at the Dart Players Florida Event in Kissimmee, Florida on the weekend of the 15th August during the annual DPFL event. Members of the USJD and JDC will be in attendance that weekend and are also hosting an Academy Accreditation Day in person to anyone who wants to be part of this exciting new relationship.
In attendance will be USJD President and founder, Ray Robinson and his team, with JDC Chairman and CEO Steve Brown and Darren Barson.
Ray Robinson commented,
"The launch of the USJD movement has been many months in the making. We are thankful and excited to have the JDC team join us on this journey.
The mission of the USJD is to grow junior darts in America by providing players of all skill levels access to the world's most proven junior darts development framework: the JDC Academy System. Our goal is simple—to build a national community of junior dart players by driving interest and growth at the local level.
We're especially pleased to have so many key partners—the CDC, Winmau, JDC, and DPFL—working together in support of the USJD movement.
From the launch of our first academy in Delaware to the planned openings of Academies #2 and #3 in Asheville, North Carolina, and Cape Cod, Massachusetts, it's clear: the future of junior darts in America is bright. The best is yet to come."
