We are just days away from the Irish qualifiers for the JDC World Darts Championship, which will take place on December 16th. Four qualifiers will take place during the months of September and October, giving all Irish throwers under the age of 18 the chance to qualifier for Bristol’s finals.

JDC Welsh qualifiers at St Davids Hall just days away!!

The chance for 4 young Welsh stars to shine is on the 25th August in Cardiff. Alongside the Champion of Champions event the JDC will be looking for 4 players to qualify to play for TEAM WALES in December at the Junior World cup team event in Bristol and the same 4 players to gain a spot in the WDS Junior World Darts Championship finals to get to play at Alexandra Palace and become a world champion. A great opportunity for the players to join forces and show the rest of the world the talent that Wales has under the age of 18. Ireland are just about to start their qualifying events later in the autumn. News of which will be posted by the JDC.

Richard Ashdown has become the latest ambassador to lend his hand on spreading the word of the next generation.

Suitably noted, Richard talks about little acorns, and that's just how the game is within the JDC. Richard has visited JDC events in the past and is very keen on the development of the game at junior and youth level. His knowledge and professionalism is a shining example to the youngsters on how to present yourself and that a career in darts is not all about playing. The JDC have encouraged young people to try coaching, journalism, presenting, scoring and assisting in organising events.

We look forward to our future relationship and thank Richard for this wonderful gesture. Follow our latest Ambassador on twitter.
