JDC World Champion Keane Barry pursues a third JDC title in Milton Keynes this Sunday in the Rileys Super 16 Final.
The conclusion of the 2019 Club Rileys Super 16 tournament will be contested by JDC World Champion and International Open Champion Keane Barry and last weeks JDC Tour winner Luke Littler. Throughout 2019 junior players entered qualifyng events throughout the year to be joined by players from the JDC's academy system in a grand finals that was played out last month in Wolverhampton.
The actual final will be played out on stage this Sunday to conclude the event. Courtesy of the PDC, players are able to experience the professional set up and the big stage atmosphere to enhance their experience within the JDC system at PDC major events. Barry claimed his world title at the Alexandra Palace in December and has an opportunity of making it a hatrick of JDC events as he bows out of the junior system turning 18 this year. Littler however has time on his side. He has claimed a Super 16 qualifying win in the Autumn and last weekend was victorious in Solihull on the JDC Tour. Sundays best of 9 final will be a swift affair as both competitors play with a quick rythym which should suit both players.
The Rileys Super 16 2020 will return later this year and detail can be found on all JDC tournaments via JDC media platforms.
