JDC Chairman Steve Brown makes the semi finals in Wigan on day one of the PDC'S qualifying school.
JDC founder and Chairman made a return to the floor yesterday in a bid to to claim one of the PDC's tour cards on offer at the Robin Park Leisure Centre in Wigan.
With over 500 players looking for the dream ticket, Brown was a match away from claiming his return to the PDC tour. The former PDC professional had planned to support his son John Brown over the events and returning to JDC business as normal. However in recent months Steve has been playing to a high standard of darts and when offered a sponsor to enter Q school it was an offer that could not be turned down.
Steve Commented,
" great to back and feel the buzz of the PDC set up again, no pressure or expectation on me this time. I have been playing quite well lately so with the support of a sponsor, it was a no brainer to enter. Lets take it game by game and enjoy the event. Its great to see so many old friends and the latest crop of JDC players also here, trying to change their lives in darts".
Q school will continue for a further 3 days and the action can be accessed through DartConnect and the PDC website for updates.
