JDC academy students take the opportunity to play in the Junior World Darts Finals.
Over the last 24 weeks JDC affiliated academy students have been looking to finish in the top esherlonds of the Academy OOM system, allowing another 10 players to qualify for Gibraltar. The academy order of merit will also see the top 4 players who are of English nationality make up Team England Allstars. The players who have qualified represent a wide range of academies including Staffordshire, Bedworth, West Midlands, DNEYA Blyth, Yate, Paignton and Derby.
Darren Barson Director of Operations for the JDC commented,
" what a fantastic opportunity for children who attend an academy in their local community to be given this chance to shine. 24 weeks of super darts is certainly commitement to the cause and great preperation for a world championship. I am delighted that these academies will be represented along side JDC Ireland, Worcester, Neath, Blackburn and Southampton academies who will have students representing themselves or their nations in September."
