The Scott Farms International Junior Darts Tour arrives in Dorchester this weekend.
The second double header of this years JDC tour will see the completion of tours 3&4 at the George Albert Hotel Dorchester. After the first double header in Wolverhampton last month, Junior sensation Leighton Bennett heads up the JDC's tour order of merit, followed by some oustanding talented youngsters in Keelan Kay and Brad Phillips who have both represented England at the JDC's World Cup Event. Lancashire based Nathan Care and Cheshires James Beeton are also in the running for Team England qualification which is made up of the top 4 placed English players at the end of the tour in May. Ahead of all these players going into Saturdays event is Harry Gregory who sits in second place in the OOM. Harry has also, by virtue of his win in Wolverhampton in T2 qualified outright for the World Finals in September on the rock of Gibraltar. He will be joined by Leighton Bennett as the winner of T1.
22 places are available this year for the Junior World Darts Championship from the JDC tour OOM, up 6 on 2018. With a further opportunity for three over 16's to acquire a PDPA scholarship from the tour, there is so much to play for in this years event.
