We are just days away from the Irish qualifiers for the JDC World Darts Championship, which will take place on December 16th. Four qualifiers will take place during the months of September and October, giving all Irish throwers under the age of 18 the chance to qualifier for Bristol’s finals.
All four Irish qualifiers are listed below:
Qualifier one: 2nd September – Munster (Shooters) Cork
Qualifier two: 30th September – Connacht (Nolan’s) Galway
Qualifier three: 14th October – Ulster (Weight Inn) Tyrone
Qualifier four: 28th October – Leinster (Roadstone SC) Dublin
The top four players in the Darts Academy Ireland order of merit will also qualify for the Junior Darts Corporation team event, prior to the World Championship.
Keane Barry currently sits at the summit of the order of merit, holding a narrow lead over Killian Heffernan. Sean Cummins’s spot is seemingly sealed for Bristol should he continue his excellent form from the previous months.
Katie Sheldon currently occupies the final qualifying spot for the JDC team event, although there is large chasing pack looking to fulfil their dream of competing on the World stage.
